611
Referring to June 11, 1776 when the Committee of Five was assembled to draft the Declaration of Independence.
This is not about the Declaration of Independence itself but the planning, mindset, and organization required to create a masterpiece of human ingenuity.
Substratum 611 is a research podcast into the foundational principles and internal work behind external success.
Creating the world’s greatest improvement-oriented thinkers into the central character of their story, bringing their perspective to a down-to-earth discourse.
Our conversations keep the underlying principles of Logical Reasoning, Emotional Intelligence, and Interpersonal Relationships while actively understanding personal mindsets, foreign mindsets, and the philosophical gray zone.
- Logical Reasoning: the power of the mind to think, process, and form conclusions using evidence and rationale, distinguishing valid propositions from fallacies.
- Emotional Intelligence: the perception, understanding, and management of the instinctive, survival-based response from personal and non-verbal emotions.
- Interpersonal Relationships: the connections between individuals based on a level of trust, respect, care, and concern for the other person's happiness and well-being.
- Personal Mindset
- order - the thoughts, decisions, actions, and behaviors (shaped by an individual’s experiences, values, and perspectives) that drives how a person interprets and reacts to the world around them.
- Foreign Mindset
- chaos - the mindset of others, including culture, social constructs, or environmental influences. These mindsets can feel unfamiliar or challenging to understand due to differing norms or values.
- Philosophical Gray Zone
- gray morality - bridging clarity between personal and foreign mindsets without altering the personal. It involves both parties to be actively open to opposing interpretation and have conversations where absolute solutions do not exist.
About Aren
Hi there!
This podcast is both a personal development lesson and a sort of time capsule.
The idea for this started back in June 2024 when I had a conversation with an amazing friend. Ever since then, I’ve been trying to have better and better talks with people.
This website is designed without cool visual effects and the general “professional” aesthetic as the main function is communicating content.
